Hot Yaupon Tea

• 1 tbsp loose leaf or 1 tea bag
• 8–14 oz hot water (just below boiling)
• Steep 4–6 minutes

Iced Yaupon Tea

• 5 tbsp loose leaf, 10 tea bags, or an ice tea sack
• Steep in 1 liter hot water for 10 minutes
• Add 1 liter cold water and then ice

Cold Brewed Yaupon Tea

• 5 tbsp loose leaf, 10 tea bags, or an ice tea sack
• 2 quarts cold water
• Steep 8–12 hours in the fridge

Yaupon is forgiving—steep longer or reuse leaves to taste.
